CodeDrop is a fun online typing game that offers graphics you would expect to find in a flash based Matrix game with a Matrix based story. There is a glitch is the system and you need to prevent the code from dropping by purging the system. Basically, you need to type the letters falling from the top of the screen before they reach the bottom of the screen. Allow ten letters to slip passed you and reach the bottom and it's game over. The story might leave a lot to be desired, but the game sure doesn't.
CodeDrop isn't an easy game. Even the most experience typing game player is likely to find this one at least a little challenging. There are harder games out there, but this game is fun, entertaining and unusually addictive. You'll enjoy trying to get all of the letters before they fall and when you finish you are going to want to try to beat your score. That's what makes this game so addictive.
The graphics in CodeDrop are a lot of fun. The developers did a great job of giving the game a Matrix-like feel without completely ripping off the movie. The game isn't impossible but it is challenging enough to hold your interest. Newcomers to the typing game genre will be able to hold their own at least for a little while and with practice, will be able to get much better. This game offers a great way to learn where the letter keys are on the keyboard because as the game progresses, there is no time to be looking at your keyboard to find the next letter. You'll need to begin remembering where those letters are. Pressing the wrong letter will result is a lost life and that is certainly not something you can afford in this fast paced, intense game.
